MV & LV Power Lines • Transformers • SubstationsIndustrial • Institutional • Domestic Installations

Electrical infrastructure for distribution networks, substations, buildings and industrial facilities.

PAPAN undertakes MV and LV power-line construction, transformer installation, substation works, industrial and domestic electrical installations, control-panel integration, institutional and industrial electrical systems, maintenance, fault correction, testing and commissioning.

Each assignment is planned around the approved design, voltage level, connected load, equipment ratings, protection requirements, earthing, site access, isolation arrangements and the authority responsible for energisation.

Electrical Infrastructure & Power Systems

From power-line construction and substations to building installations and commissioning.

PAPAN’s electrical work covers distribution infrastructure and end-use installations. This includes MV and LV lines, transformers, substations, switchgear, control panels, institutional wiring, industrial systems and domestic installations.

Before mobilisation, PAPAN reviews the drawings, load requirements, equipment interfaces, protection, earthing, shutdown needs, site conditions and approval points required for safe installation and energisation.

The scope may involve a single work package or a coordinated electrical assignment covering construction, installation, maintenance, fault correction, testing, commissioning and handover.

Safety and System Control

Electrical construction, installation and energisation must remain controlled at every stage.

Work planning should identify the authorised persons, isolation points, access restrictions, protective equipment, testing requirements and approval needed before any circuit or equipment is energised.

  • Approved drawings, equipment ratings and work boundaries confirmed before mobilisation.
  • Isolation, lockout, access control and testing arrangements agreed before work begins.
  • Earthing, protection, terminations and equipment interfaces checked before energisation.
  • Test results, commissioning records and outstanding actions documented at handover.

How the Work Is Delivered

From system review to testing, energisation and handover.

  1. Review the system: Confirm the supply arrangement, voltage level, connected load, equipment condition, drawings, access and intended result.
  2. Define the work package: Set out ratings, quantities, interfaces, responsibilities, permits, shutdowns, safeguards and approval points.
  3. Procure and mobilise: Coordinate approved equipment, cables, hardware, test instruments, personnel, access and site readiness.
  4. Install and connect: Carry out the agreed line, transformer, cabling, panel, earthing, maintenance or related electrical work.
  5. Inspect and test: Check workmanship, terminations, continuity, insulation, earthing, protection and any corrective actions.
  6. Energise and hand over: Complete authorised energisation, operational checks, commissioning records, client briefing and agreed follow-up.
Delivery Priorities

Controls that must be clear before electrical work is accepted or energised.

Clear Work Boundaries

The installation scope, interfaces, responsibilities and technical approval points are agreed before mobilisation.

Safe Energisation

Isolation, inspection, testing and authorisation requirements are completed before equipment or circuits are made live.

Useful Handover Records

Installation details, test results, commissioning records and outstanding actions are organised for the client and operators.

Before Requesting a Scope

Share the system information needed for a safe and accurate review.

  • Project location and a clear description of the electrical problem, installation or required outcome.
  • Supply arrangement, voltage level, connected load, equipment ratings, quantities and intended operating conditions.
  • Available single-line diagrams, layouts, specifications, schedules, photographs, test reports or maintenance records.
  • Preferred timeline, shutdown or isolation requirements, access conditions and the authorised contact person.
  • Procurement, safety, quality, reporting, permit and approval requirements that may affect the work.
